Digga's

 Continent: Laenor

Description:

• Digga's is a collection of many different mini-areas for players of all levels, from Lowbies to Highbies, all tied under a single story/theme
• There are several different level quests, lots of secrets, and contains joining location for the Barbarian guild
• Currently I'm going to focus on the Newbie Park, as I'm writing a new player guide. I'll update the other sections later.

Quests:

• LQ 17: Platter
• LQ 51: Magic Tower
• LQ 70: Silver Battlesuit

Equipment:

• Fearsome Newbie Axe named 'Onog' <red glow>
• Rewarded for completing LQ17
• You must be under level 30 to wield it
• +damage, so it's actually pretty nice if you use axes.
• Sells for 1 gold coin, so don't expect to get rich off of it ;p

Open Questions:

• This guide currently focuses only on the newbie park. There are many, many more areas in Digga's, including the Barbarian guild
• What is up with the beautiful trees in the Newbie area? They are represented as items and you can target them with magic spells.

Notes:

Entrance (Narrow Path):

• At the "turn in the path" if you "enter bushes" you will find yourself at the joining location of the Barbarian Guild.
• You will need a "barbarian ring of friendship" to actually join the guild.
• You can get this ring by releasing the barbarian in the Raven jail in this area.
• Warning: If you take the "path" exit from here without being a barbarian, you will find yourself in a "dense forest" maze with a bunch of aggressive high level barbarians. Instead exit "SW"
• By the large tree, you can see a note that the city of Raven is offering a reward for each barbarian head brought to the taskmaster in town
• To the East is a mountain pass. More about that in the section below.
• Eventually you come to the entrance to Digga's Newbie area to the west.
• There is a magical shovel dispenser if you don't have a shovel already!
• Also if you type "newbiehelp" in this room you'll get some basic equipment. Hopefully you already have better equipment but it still is nice.
• If you ask for it more than once per boot, you will get hit by lightning for around 50 damage.
• To the north is the road to raven, but there are aggressive creatures that will jump out of the woods and ambush you along that road
• Which is another way of saying, if you are a newbie, don't go north!

Newbie Area:

• There is a "very beautiful tree grows here" that is an item in one of the rooms.
• I could cast magic spells at it, but I really don't understand what it does.
• It seems weird enough (aka it is an item) that it probably is important in some way
• In one of the tables to the south, if you look at it the table will collapse and four aggressive termites will pop out and attack you.
• On the shore of the pond, you can "dive" to enter the pond
• On the bottom of the pond you can "search floor" to find a pair of rusted silver sleeve armour
• It is for the left arm
• Maybe this is part of LQ 70?

LQ17 (Still Newbie Area):

• In the southern picnic area you can find the Ranger
• They want Yogi's head on a platter
• They say that Smokey has a suitable platter, and that we can figure out the rest
• Smokey is in the western area of the map
• There is a firepit next to him and some wood. If you have a torch (available via the newbiehelp command at the entrance) you can "make fire". This fire will heal you and Smokey doesn't seem to care about it.
• Kill him and he drops a silver platter
• Next go kill Yogi the bear who will then drop his head
• "put head on platter"
• Go to the Ranger and "present platter"
• Congratulations, you completed the LQ.
• Quest completion message:
• You offer the Yogi's head on a silver platter to the Ranger.
• The Ranger looks at the platter closely.
• Ranger grins evilly.
• Ranger tells you 'Thank you for completing the task.' 
• Ranger tells you 'As a reward I will give you this nice axe. It is only useful for newbies and not for very long.'  
• Ranger reaches behind a tree and drops something on the ground.
• Congratulations! You have just completed Platter!
• You receive 2783 gold as a reward for completing the quest.
• 
  
• Digga pops right out of your ear!
• Digga licks you.
• Digga exclaims 'Way to go!  You just completed Level Quest 17!'
• Digga licks you and disappears!

Mountain Pass:

• The cave has some very aggressive and tough trolls at the entrance. 
• Unless you are much higher level, do not go in here
• There is an old sage sitting on top of the mountain
• His name is Barney
• He keeps talking about some armor (probably associated with Level Quest 70)
• The Barbarian Chief has the torso for the armor
• The paladin wearing it went to a crypt to fight evil and died
• He also recommends checking out Ikar's area

Raven:

• Walking on the road to raven, creatures will jump out of the forest and ambush you.

Kill Tracker:

• A marmot lies here sunning itself
• 750 exp
• A cute little bunny rabbit
• 160 exp
• Drops some bunny meat if you need food
• A beautiful deer grazes nearby
• 1600 exp
• Drops some deer meat
• A frog is hopping here
• 500 exp
• Drops some frog legs
• A duck looking for a snack swims here
• 450 exp
• A mean termite
• 300 exp
• An ant that is raiding the picnic site
• 450 exp
• Smokey the Bear stands here
• 2650 exp
• Booboo the Bear
• 1700 exp
