Recycle Event (Rixx Tec Gear)

Image
Description: Twice a year, in January and September, a special two-month event allows you to sacrifice equipment to create powerful Rixx Tec gear. Rixx Tec gear can be fully customized to fit *almost* any equipment slot, use any material, and have a wide variety of bonuses imbued into it. This makes it super useful for filling those awkward equipment slots where you haven't been able to find anything good. The bonuses on Rixx Tec gear scale with the amount of equipment you sacrifice to create it. This means the event is useful for everyone, from brand-new players all the way up to the top-tier players on the Mud. Unfortunately, the Rixx Tec quest line is very confusing. That's why this guide exists! Event Location:   ( South-Crossing South of Arellium ) Useful Links: Batmud Armour Material Information: [ Link ] Very helpful for deciding what to make your equipment out of! Information on "Rigs/Frames/Backpacks" Equipment: [ Link ] Rigs are super popular items for ne...

Newbie Enchanter Quests

Image
Description: These are daily quests that allow players under level 61 to enchant "non-magical" equipment with magical attributes. Players over level 61 can still complete the first half of the quests to collect gems. They can then use them the next time they reincarnate (and are under the level cap). Considering there is a ton of non-magical equipment that you'll likely be using (aka rigs/backpacks, o-yoroi armour, and shields) these quests can be very valuable since buying similar equipment can cost you millions of gold. This goes double for rigs/backpacks where the only other reliable source of stats for that equipment spot is through twice a year Rixx equipment events. The quests will take you all over Batmud and introduce you to new areas and quests. So completing these quests can be a lot of fun and can help get you out of any ruts that you've been falling in. Coffee Forest

Continent:  Lucetium Level Limit: Max Player Level: 55 Enforcement Mechanism: 100k Blocking Monster Description: Another of the more "modern" Batmud areas with several outerworld components, much like bunny valley. A good place for mid level characters to earn experience. There are a ton of monsters to kill here. There's also a fun area quest to do. Finally, there are some equipment pieces you can collect, either for your starter set, to sell, or to use in a Rixx event. Quests: Area Quest: Coffee Time Fun quest. Lots of secrets to discover. Some of the syntax is non-intuitive. The biggest monster you need to kill is around 20k EXP. There are multiple rewards to this quest. Only one of which gives you credit for completing the quest. Equipment: A pure white loincloth +1 CHA, +1 SPR Obtained from the cherub-like homunculus (40k monster) Batwiki Entry: [ Link ] A white apron +1-2 HPR Obtained from Dr. Oso Batwiki Entry: [ Link ] Halo of Flames +5 DEX, -3 cold res, +damage on...

Items to sell: Longsword of the Ogrekiller: 640 gold Club of a young dragon's thigh-bone 780 gold Open Questions: I have a ton of questions. It feels like there are all sorts of secrets in this area that I don't know how to interact with What do the keys go to, and why can't I find them in every run? What happens when you win a game of chance against the skeleton? I've been told that you win a flute, which you can then trade in to get a Flute of slave's sigh What is past Bloodlust the Giant-Kin? What's u...

Newbie Crystite Equipment

Image
Overview: Crystite equipment can be used by players up to level 60 (at which point it will stop working). You can earn credits to buy this equipment from the Crystite Trading Post in Dortlewall by turning in crystite fragments you find in the Dortlewall mines. Here is a guide to the Dortlewall Crystite Mines One important point though is you will stop being able to earn Crystite credits after level 40. So the equipment will last you longer, but after level 40 you will stop being able to get new equipment. The equipment can be very useful, but it's hard to tell what it will do for you until you spend your credits and buy it. Hence this guide! Note: You can view <item number> to get an overview of equipment when you are in the shop. The information below provides actual numbers for the bonus to stats, plus damage information gained from the "compare" skill to rank crystite weapons next to other Batmud weapons. I want to give credit to the  The BatMUD Information Sho...
