• There are a lot of little creatures to kill and a fun level quest here

Quests:

• LQ 21: Help the Hobbit

Equipment:

• A clear <blue/black> crystal pendant
• When black, it provides +dam which is very nice
• When blue, it provides +spr for casters
• To switch modes, take it off and "polish pendant". You can only switch modes around once an hour.

• None really. It's a small area that is really geared towards one quest.

Entrance:

• In the entrance room you can "pick flower". This will give you a yellow flower.
• You can do this multiple times to get more flowers.
• You will need three flowers for the quest.
• There is a ladder going up the oak tree. You can go up it by typing the command "climb ladder"
• Inside the treehouse is a small cast iron kettle. Take this if you are doing the quest
• Going to the NE, you come upon the Hobbit house. Inside you can ask the hobbit questions.
• If you "ask hobbit about sleep" they say they need to make a potion to help their mother sleep
• If you "ask hobbit about potion" they say they don't know how to make the potion, but it will need some amount of spider silk, mushrooms, flowers, and acorns. You also need to go find the magic kettle, and insert items into it. If you insert too many items, the potion will go foul.
• In one of the "Dark Forest" rooms there is a hole. If you "search hole" an aggressive angry badger will pop out and attack you.
• The spiders drop spider silk when you kill them
• You will need several spider silks for the quest
• In a couple of rooms (marked on map) you can "search moss" to find an acorn
• You can find multiple acorns in the same moss if you keep searching
• You will need several acorns for the quest
• In one of the "deep in the forest" rooms you can "pick mushroom" to obtain a mushroom
• You can do this multiple times to get a large number of mushrooms
• You will need several mushrooms for the quest
• Once you have everything above for the quest, go to the abandoned hunter's cabin
• "hang kettle on hook" to put the kettle over the fire
• "light fire" to start things bubbling
• Put the ingredients above one by one into the kettle. Only put the amount listed above. If the liquid turns black, you put too much in and will need to restart by "empty kettle" BEFORE YOU PICK IT UP. Then pick up the kettle, "hang kettle on hook" and "light fire" again
• The amount of ingredients to put in the kettle is randomly determined (usually between 1 and 4) so it will take some trial and error to figure out how much to use.
• When the liquid in the kettle turns blue, you have successfully made the potion.
• Go back to the hobbit and give them the kettle with the blue potion. This will complete the level quest.
• Quest success text:
• Congratulations! You have just completed Help the hobbit!
• You receive 366 gold as a reward for completing the quest.
• For your good actions, the hobbit awards you with his most prized posession, a magical pendant!
• You feel more experienced!
• You give a small cast iron kettle (almost empty) to Hobbit.
• Side note, the hobbit is very, very tough, so do not attack them.
