Continent:  Lucetium Overview: A good place for lowbies to earn EXP, though there are a lot of aggressive monsters here Most monsters drop coins, which also means you can earn some money here Quests: Effiilas Daily Quest:  Find the Notes in the Cornfield Monestary A dresser will appear in the Monastery. For me it was in the guard's room. You can "search dresser" to find the note.  Equipment: I've heard tales of a "dim ring" that can be found here. Paladin Stronghold

Continent:  Lucetium Level Limit: I've heard there is a level limit of 40 here, but I haven't seen any enforcement mechanism That being said, I'm level 39 right now... Quests:  Area Quest: Paladin Stronghold Note: The keys and items for this quest are removed from your inventory when a reboot occurs. Equipment: N one that I know of.  Open Questions: There's a lot of items that seem interesting (such as weapons) but you can't interact with. Map: Notes: Entrance (Outside Stronghold): To the west is a terrified paladin If you "ask paladin about help" they will tell you there is a vampire is inside the stronghold. They tell you to seek out Dentar who is also in the stronghold for more information. The paladin is continuously casting "Protection against evil" In the Arch room, you can "move furniture" to open up the way to go north into the stronghold. Mountain Dwarves

  Continent:  Laenor Description: One of the oldest areas of batmud. Recoded in 1998 Good (but risky) mid-level experience area All guards will turn aggressive if ANYONE attacks one. So another player going through here can really mess up your day. Quests: Save the king's son from Duegar dwarves Equipment: N one that I know of.  Open Questions: How do you get a key to open the jail cell? Also, what/who is in the jail cell? How do you get a key to open the northern gate? Also what is past the northern gate? Where do you find the Duegar dwarves and the King's son? Map: Notes: Entrance (And Dwarf Village): The dwarves can wander outside into the outerworld. So you may encounter mountain dwarfs picking berries in the valley around the area. If you attack the dwarf guard, they send out an alarm that turns other guards agressive Text: The Dwarf guard manages to alert the city guards! Arelium Church of All Gods (Startloc)

Continent:  Laenor Overview: This is the default starting location of all players There are many different important NPCs here for Newbies There are both good and evil monsters here which is nice if you need to change your alignment There's several different "subsections" to this area providing a lot of variety Quests: For the Viking Event, there is a chest in the graveyard where you can turn in items to win it. Ring of the quest masters (provides a newbie ring that is nice) Equipment: Ring of the quest masters Can be different types of resist or +con Special Explore Room: The vault in the basement after you touch the cube is supposedly a special explore room.
