Description:
  • Very small area with a few monsters and LQ18
  • This is one of the easiest level quests in the game. All players should be able to complete it.
    • Completing the LQ will probably take you around five minutes. Traveling to this area will take longer.

  • None. There really isn't much to do here.

Notes:

All the areas (it is a small map):
  • To the west is a grassy field where a young woman named Mary is picking herbs
    • She says she needs some Dendrax root to complete her shrinking potion
    • If you ask Mary about root, she replies the magic root grows in this area
  • If you go into the overseer's house you'll find the overseer who you need to give the staff to in order to complete the level quest
    • The overseer is surprisingly non-responsive to you asking them about the quest.
  • In the mine, the kobolds wander around. They aren't aggressive so the main thing is to be careful not to accidently take on too many at once.
  • If you take the NE passage in the mine, at the end of it you can "take root" to cut off some Dendrax root
    • If you take it back to Mary and "give root to Mary" she will give you a shrinking potion
  • Going to the end of the NW passage of the mine you hit a dead end with a crack that is too small to crawl through.
    • "Drink potion" to shrink down
    • "crawl crack" to enter the next room
  • Kill the Kobold Chief in their lair, take the staff, and then give the staff to the overseer.
    • This will complete the level quest. Easy peezy lemon squeezie!
    • Text from the overseer:
      • The overseer shouts in joy at seeing the salvation of his town!
      • Congratulations! You have just completed Kobold staff!
      • You receive 458 gold as a reward for completing the quest
  • Note: If you try to kill the overseer, they hit for much harder than you would expect for their EXP reward.
    • I'm sure this is to discourage players (like me) from killing them
  • Mary at least rewards experience similar to what you would expect for her fight
    • She also drops a potion of shrinking if you really don't want to spend the time to grab the root.

  • An out-of-work miner
    • 900 exp
  • A slimy kobold lurks here
    • 320 exp
  • The Kobold Chief
    • 600 exp
  • The overseer of the mines
    • 55 exp
    • Hits for much harder than you would expect.
  • A young woman named Mary picks herbs here
    • 2300 exp
    • Drops a potion of shrinking

Shadow Sabres Notes

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Shadowkeep Location of Guild: In the Imposing Conservatorium. Go down "stairway" Guild Requirements: Civilized Background Map of Shadow Sabres and Bard Guilds: Disclaimer: There's a lot of things I still don't know about the guild and the official documentation is pretty sketchy. Take everything with a healthy degree of skepticism as a lot of it could be wrong. That being said, I'm currently ranked #32 in the guild in style points, and have ran semi-repeatable tests, so I have tried to base my findings on logs/data vs. gut instinct when possible. Riftwalker Guide

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Randomly moves but can be found in the lake in north-west Rothikgen north of the Riftwalker cave. Look for the 'O' in the lake, and once on it "touch sphere" to enter the guild. Warning: There are a large number of vampire bats (they show up as 'B' on the map) that roam around the guild and will absolutely murder you when you are full of EXP and trying to get to the guild to spend it. Guild Requirements: Magical Background Disclaimer: I'm only level 12 in the guild. So there are huge gaps in my knowledge about being a Riftwalker. I'm writing this guide to document what I'm learning as I learn it. My Overview of the Guild: Riftwalkers have the ability to summon an elemental entity to tank for you.
