Description:
  • A decent place to earn some EXP and money
  • The difficulty level varies widely for this area
    • The werbies are trivial to kill
    • The big maggot heals wicked fast, so you really need to be able to kill it the first go-around
    • The golems really require a lowbie/midbie party to tackle
Quests:
  • No real quests that I know of
Equipment:
  • Shining Sword
    • Retrieved from the maggot cave and cleaned of slime in the town
    • Provides +2 hit. Not a great weapon as it doesn't do much damage but it is a decent piece of starting equipment.
    • Sells for 8725 gold
    • It has a sacrifice value of 130k making it a very popular item for highbies to sacrifice at shrines or use during Rixx equipment events.
Items to sell
  • Breastplate covered in slime
    • 1500 gold
    • Will reduce your stats if you wear it, so it is only good for selling
  • Tiny spear
    • 250 gold
  • Stone weapons
    • Worth only 50 to 150 gold
Open Questions:
  • I haven't explored the golem tower much

Notes:

Entrance:
  • In the second room there is some text about the bushes, and if you look at the bushes it says you searched them and didn't find anything. Long story short, this seems a bit suss and may be worth investigating more.
  • Note, the hunters can become aggressive if they see hostile spells or skills being used.
Maggot Cave:
  • Going down into the maggot cave, it's pretty easy but maggots will agro if you attack one of them in a room
  • A huge maggot blocks access to the treasure room
    • You really need to kill it in one go, since it regenerates very quickly so will likely be at fully health if you leave and come back
  • In the treasure room there is a sword and a breastplate covered in slime
    • These are popular items for players to sell, so often someone else may have grabbed them
    • It seems like there is a couple hour cooldown timer before they respawn.
Village:
  • Tons of easy mobs to kill here if you are looking for that
  • There is a soapy bathtub in the final hut in the town.
    • Give slime covered sword to the wrebie in the room and they will clean it
    • This takes about 30 seconds an item and makes them worth significantly more when you sell them.
    • They don't seem to want to clean the slime covered breastplate
Tower (Golems):
  • I was able to explore here despite not killing any of the golems
    • When I came back a second day the drawbridge was up and I could not enter it. I guess somebody needs to kill the golems to lower it.
    • I've heard they drop a horn which you can blow to lower the drawbridge
  • The golems are slightly harder than I can solo myself at level 45 since they heal very fast.
  • I didn't actually finish mapping the 3rd and 4th floors of the tower.
    • In fact, I only loosely mapped the first two floors.

Kill Tracker:

  • Wrebie Hunter
    • 2000 exp
    • Drops a tiny spear
  • Wrebie youngster
    • 800-1000 exp
    • Drops a tiny spear
  • Leader of the Wrebies
    • 2500 exp
    • Drops a tiny spear

    • 1000-2000 exp
  • Huge dark skinned maggot
    • 4500 exp

Riftwalker Guide

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Randomly moves but can be found in the lake in north-west Rothikgen north of the Riftwalker cave. Look for the 'O' in the lake, and once on it "touch sphere" to enter the guild. Warning: There are a large number of vampire bats (they show up as 'B' on the map) that roam around the guild and will absolutely murder you when you are full of EXP and trying to get to the guild to spend it. Guild Requirements: Magical Background Disclaimer: I haven't earned the Magic entity yet or done any end game content like rift raids. So there are huge gaps in my knowledge about being a Riftwalker. Dortlewall Crystite Mine

Continent:  Laenor Description: Located in the newbie town of Dortlewall Area for newbies to grind EXP and to obtain a currency called crystite to purchase newbie equipment The equipment is *very* good, but will only work until you are level 60 Level Limit: There is a hard level limit of 40. Aka players level 41 and greater can not enter the mines Quests: Area Quest: It's a Drill You need to fix a broken drill on the second level of the mine To do this you need to find three machine parts. I'm told the machine parts can spawn differently for different players.  Aka where you get the parts will be different, as well as what parts show up where.  For example, one person searching the junk in the abandoned food store will find a Stone Pin, and another person might find a Ring with Ball Bearings.  Also one person might need to scavenge the broken drill while that drill might be empty for another person.
