Notes:

Entrance:

  • The first thing I notice is there are guards keeping me out of the castle, and guards keeping me out of the religious compound. Going to do some exploring first before I attempt to force my way through.
    • The guards at the religious compound are praising Beldarus the builder.
  • To the west, there is a stable. In the stable there is a broken cart for the church, and an abandoned ladder, though I couldn't interact with either one of them
  • Far to the west side, there is a door that requires a key to unlock.
  • Going around the garden of the castle I encountered a nervous man with a crowbar trying to open the back door. The description implies he is a burglar.
    • If you kill him, he drops a crowbar
    • If you wield the crowbar, you supposedly can use it to force the door to gain access to the castle
    • I may not be strong enough for this. Aka I just scrape the lock. It's not opening for me.
  • Someone luckily already opened up the door the next time I came in
  • In the gardener's room, if you 'look at vase' you will get a bouquet of flowers.
  • In the kitchen you can ask the cook about soup (later on Yves asks for it), and the cook gives a very unhelpful answer that he needs one more ingredient
    • Hah, I messed up with my spelling. If you ask for ingredient he says he needs a champignons, which is a type of mushroom (had to google that)
2nd Level of Castle (and Attic):
  • Jean-Paul gets mad if you do any offensive actions in his room (I was trying to hit the drums)
  • The baron is in the East/South of the second floor
    • If you ask him about help, he says he needs something to hide his safe
    • There is an exposed safe in his wall. I couldn't figure out how to interact with it.
    • If you ask Baron about painting, he says he sure could use one.
  • In the baron's bathroom, if you "search foam" you will find a rubber duck!
    • If you squeeze the duck it squeaks!!!
  • In the attic in the pigeon coup, you can "search pigeon nests" to get a pigeon
    • You have to type the full pigeon nests, not just "nests"
    • You can pick up the pegeon
  • In the studio in the attic, you can find Yves who is an artist
    • If you ask him about painting he asks for food and a subject
    • If you ask him about food, he asks for some champignon soup
    • If you ask him about subject, he says either flowers or an animal
      • I have both (flowers from the vase in the gardeners, and the rubber ducky from the bathroom
Cellar:
  • There is a troll in the basement
    • They respond if you ask them about mushrooms (they like mushrooms)
    • They also respond if you ask them about meat (they want meat)
    • If you give troll the pigeon from earlier, they will drop some mushrooms
Completing the Quest:
  • If you give the cook Henri the mushrooms, he will take roughly 30 seconds and then give you a soup.
  • If you give Yves the soup he will say he is ready to start painting
  • I decided to be different from all the other guides, (yes I look at them), and give Yves the rubber ducky
    • He painted it!!! I'm so excited!
  • He then gave me a painting
  • You can give the baron the painting to complete the level quest!
    • I got 11770 gold plus credit for the quest
  • You can now see the painting on the wall of a rubber duck. I'm very easily amused.

Kill Tracker:
  • I didn't kill a single thing in this run...

Riftwalker Guide

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Randomly moves but can be found in the lake in north-west Rothikgen north of the Riftwalker cave. Look for the 'O' in the lake, and once on it "touch sphere" to enter the guild. Warning: There are a large number of vampire bats (they show up as 'B' on the map) that roam around the guild and will absolutely murder you when you are full of EXP and trying to get to the guild to spend it. Guild Requirements: Magical Background Disclaimer: I haven't earned the Magic entity yet or done any end game content like rift raids. So there are huge gaps in my knowledge about being a Riftwalker. Dortlewall Crystite Mine

Continent:  Laenor Description: Located in the newbie town of Dortlewall Area for newbies to grind EXP and to obtain a currency called crystite to purchase newbie equipment The equipment is *very* good, but will only work until you are level 60 Level Limit: There is a hard level limit of 40. Aka players level 41 and greater can not enter the mines Quests: Area Quest: It's a Drill You need to fix a broken drill on the second level of the mine To do this you need to find three machine parts. I'm told the machine parts can spawn differently for different players.  Aka where you get the parts will be different, as well as what parts show up where.  For example, one person searching the junk in the abandoned food store will find a Stone Pin, and another person might find a Ring with Ball Bearings.  Also one person might need to scavenge the broken drill while that drill might be empty for another person.
