Overview:

The Feldspar Conglomerate is a corporate organization focused on mining and extracting value from Desolathya.
  • Their main encampment is in the north of Desolathya where you can turn in rewards
  • You can pick up quests from a bulletin board, one West from the ferry landing.
The specialized equipment can help Civilized guild members. Though the +con longblade is nice for starting Nomads as well.

Open Questions and Mysteries:
  • There is the ability to join the Feldspar Congloerate. What does this get you?
  • There appears to be a task to build a massive bunker. Not sure why.
  • In the basement there is a door to the Feldspar Foundation, which requires specialized knowledge on how to open. What is behind it?

Building a New Bunker:

I'm not sure what the end reward is (it might be a "hard work task") but one South and then one East of the entrance you will encounter 16 empty plots where you can start to build a large bunker. To build this room represents a huge amount of work and you probably need a large team working together to do this in a day.

Making the Foundation:
  • To the south and east of the entrance you will hit plots of cleared earth where you can "dig"
  • If you have the mining skill, you will be more effective at digging
  • Each time you dig, it will cost you 50 Endurance Points (EP)
  • Example text:
    • Your mining skill lets you clear the earth far more effectively.
    • You excavate 5075 kg of earth
    • Digging: 7.25% complete
Laying the Walls and Floor:
  • You can now build the walls using the command "lay X wall"
    • Such as "Lay west wall"
  • You will need bricks to do this. To make bricks go to the kiln room
Making Bricks:
  • To make bricks, you need clay. To get clay go to the river and "dig".
    • Just like with digging the ground, having training mining will help
    • Each dig will cost you 50 EP
    • The clay will automatically be transported to the kiln room
  • Once you dug up a lot of clay go to the kiln room and "bake bricks"
    • This also takes EP each time you do this
    • The bricks will be available in any of the excavation rooms to lay floors and build walls

  • Startup Feldspar worker gear with signing bonus cash (100 Favor)
    • This is a standard backpack containing the following
      • a Corona
      • four bars of compressed nuts and honey
      • a lantern
      • a pile of silver coins (100 gold worth)
      • a dirty blue chaperon
      • a dirty red pair of socks
  • Set of standard Feldspar guard gear (100 Favor)
  • Set of standard Feldspar channeler gear (100 Favor)
  • Set of standard Feldspar alchemist gear (100 Favor)
  • Big mineral box with steel and random metals (500 Favor)
  • Big mineral box with refined gem and raw stone (500 Favor)
  • Bag of fresh herbs of the day (500 Favor)
  • big potion pack with six utility potions (500 Favor)
  • +con short/longblade of variable form (1000 Favor)
  • +dex backpack that improves MIP ratio (2000 Favor)
  • +wis/+mastery of runemagery belt (2000 Favor)
  •  stylish shortblade that gets drunk and stabs randomly (2000 Favor)
  •  book that improves the 'mix drug' skill permanently (2000 Favor)
  • +spr arms that improve psi/info spell damage (3000 Favor)
  • +int/+mastery of channelling held item (3000 Favor)
  • +cha/+leadership greathelm that improves take prisoner (3000 Favor)
  • vial that removes many status effects (250 Favor)
  • Allows one person into the Feldspar Foundation (250 Favor)
  • Allows three party members into the Feldspar Foundation (500 Favor)
  • Allows one party into the Feldspar Foundation (750 Favor)

Easy Work:

Get the Manifest from the Dunamor Uplands
  • (Difficulty): Very Easy
  • Quest Solution:
    • Go to the Dunamor area [area guide].
    • Go into the "uplands" area which has all of the sheep (aka not the forest)
    • You will find a crate placed randomly in the fields. Once you find it "force crate"
    • Next "search crate" to find the manifest
    • To turn in the quest, visit Secretary Fingledrell (the quest-giver) and give the manifest to them.
Hunt 3 Brimshire game beasts
  • (Difficulty): Medium/Hard for newbies. Easy for Midbies
  • Quest Solution:
    • Go to the Brimshire area [area guide].
    • Go into the forest and kill three deer and/or boar
    • Note: The two deer are in the same room and will agro if you attack one of them. If you can't kill them, you can instead kill the boar three times. The biggest pain is it takes the boar a bit to respawn.
    • To turn in the quest, visit Secretary Fingledrell (the quest-giver) and "ask secretary about finish"
Kill 5 bees in Millie's Nightmare
  • (Difficulty): Hard
    • It's hard and time consuming to find the bees
  • Quest Solution:
    • IMPORTANT: The bees are in the outerworld and not actually in Millie's Nightmare. Wander around looking for a (b) and kill them when you see them.
    • Kill 5 bees
    • To turn in the quest, visit Secretary Fingledrell (the quest-giver) and "ask secretary about finish"
Kill 5 Goblin Farm pigs
  • (Difficulty): Very Easy
  • Quest Solution:
    • Go to the Goblin Farm area [area guide].
    • Go to the pigpen in the north (Note, the wandering pigs will not count for this quest)
    • Kill 5 pigs in the pigpen. They are very easy to kill.st
    • To turn in the quest, visit Secretary Fingledrell (the quest-giver) and ask them about "finish".
