The Mythical Valley

Continent: Desolathya

Quests: 

  1. LQ 29 King
  2. Side quest: Kill the drake, get the blackblade
  3. Side quest: Kill the hermit, get Mythiko (Hard, monster will destroy equipment) 
Open Questions:
  • No idea what happens when you defeat the prince of darkness
  • I'd like to better understand Qlui. What are they looking for? Why do they drop musical equipment? I have so many questions about Qlui!

Quest Notes:

Word of power:

  1. Go into the citadel.
  2. Note: you can 'enter hole' in the southern stairs area to visit a hidden area.
  3. Going up the tower in the hidden area you can enounter Max the magician. If you kill him and wear his gloves, they give you a poor 'consider' skill if you wave at someone. Not that helpful but may help you get an idea about a monster's strength if using consider would agro them.
  4. Go to the norther stairs and go down. Kill witch to get ring
  5. Go to statue with ring. Say SHAZAM backwards. Aka MAZAHS
  6. Comments by Sonny/Palidan

Sonny says: I remember so little...Something about young guard,

           who is only one that knows, how to get to the tower...

Sonny ponders: I was doing something important before the witch got me.

Sonny whispers: Yes, and I found out who has the soul of the King.

            The ones in the mine...demons, I recall. 

Going up the tower:

  1. In the castle, there is a stairway that is blocked off. If you try to break it, a message will be displayed that it would be easier if you had a pick.
    • Luckily there are some dwarfs in the well further north....
    • Thadd is the dwarf with the pick. Kill them and you can get it.
    • With the pick "break wall"
    • Now you can "enter hole"

Deadman's Note:

  1. Go to forest.
  2. In the place with the hanging body 'climb tree'
  3. Look at body
  4. Go down and collect note
  5. Go back to the ruin (northeast of forest)
  6. "enter ruin"
  7. go to graves
  8. "comfort fightress"

Fightress looks at you and says: If you really want to comfort me, slay that beast which is responsible for myparents' death. That would satisfy me a lot more than those stupid compliments. Bring me the proof the beast is dead and I reward you well. You'll find it at that mountain in north. Just go north in the woods, there's a path though you don't see it

Kill Monster:

  1. From huntress, go north. Don't worry if it doesn't show up. Just go north
  2.  Kill the drake. It is hard and the drake casts firebolts
  3. Take the skull
  4. Note, there is a monster qlui searching for something. Not sure how to help him.
  5. Give the skull to the Fightress. She drops a longsword (Blackblade) on the ground and leaves

Meet the Dwarfs:
  1. Go to the tower and head east until you hit the desert
  2. 'enter well'
  3. Kill the blocking dwarf
  4. blow horn
  5. demons are summoned. They are *tough* and will agro if you use any skill/spell
  6. Still need to kill the demons

Meet the King:

  1. Go north to the tower
  2. 'play dead' This guard will take you in the tower
  3.  give gem to king. This completes the LQ
You give a black gem to Skeleton.
The skeleton looks at you with utter surprise in its eyes.
The skeleton starts to regain its human form...
You gasp in astonishment.
The skeleton has changed back to the King he was...
You see tears of happiness in his eyes...
...but now he begins to age...
Skeleton sighs: Oh, you don't know how much I want to die...
The King is getting older and older...
but he is smiling.
King says with fainted voice:
At last I reach the death that I have wished and waited all
these years...
I thank you, pilgrimm.
You have a new party kill option for top10!
King staggers for a moment, then drops to the ground, lifeless.
King is DEAD, R.I.P.

Prince of Darkness:

  1. After saving the king, sit on throne. This telports you.to hell
  2. Not sure what to do here. There is a prince of darkness I probably need to kill, but I'm too weak. May just suicide by demon..
  3. If I try to 'pray': "You kneel and whisper a prayer Prince shouts: No prayer for the dying!! Do you really think that They will hear you when I am present? But you still hear distant voice in your head telling you something about dreaming..."
  4. Turns out it was 'wake up'

Obtaining the sword Mythiko:
  1. Go to the tower and head east until you hit the desert
  2. 'enter desert'
  3. you need to drop coins to see if you are making progress
  4. kill mewt (Is there a better way? He seems nice)
  5. go 'e' into the shed
  6. kill the hermit. Note, he cast disintegrate and is wicked hard. Haven't actually done this, but I read the warnings.
  7. Obtain Mythiko. Will supposedly convert corpses to a small amount of exp

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Shadowkeep Location of Guild: In the Imposing Conservatorium. Go down "stairway" Guild Requirements: Civilized Background Map of Shadow Sabres and Bard Guilds: Disclaimer: There's a lot of things I still don't know about the guild and the official documentation is pretty sketchy. Take everything with a healthy degree of skepticism as a lot of it could be wrong. That being said, I'm currently ranked #32 in the guild in style points, and have ran semi-repeatable tests, so I have tried to base my findings on logs/data vs. gut instinct when possible. Riftwalker Guide

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Randomly moves but can be found in the lake in north-west Rothikgen north of the Riftwalker cave. Look for the 'O' in the lake, and once on it "touch sphere" to enter the guild. Warning: There are a large number of vampire bats (they show up as 'B' on the map) that roam around the guild and will absolutely murder you when you are full of EXP and trying to get to the guild to spend it. Guild Requirements: Magical Background Disclaimer: I'm only level 12 in the guild. So there are huge gaps in my knowledge about being a Riftwalker. I'm writing this guide to document what I'm learning as I learn it. My Overview of the Guild: Riftwalkers have the ability to summon an elemental entity to tank for you.
