Level Limit:
  • According to a stone pylon there is a level limit of 56
  • Not sure how it is enforced
Description:
  • An interesting midbie area for parties to earn exp.
  • Wandering sheep are worth around 25k+ exp
Quests:
  • Make haggis to cure the shepherd's son
    • This is a merchant + alchemist focused quest.
    • You need to chop an oak down (lumberjacking)
    • You also need to collect organs (organ harvesting)
    • Finally you need to kill one of the sheep and bring the corpse to the shepherd.
  • Defeat the chaos engine to cure the shepherd's son
    • This is an alternative combat focused way to cure the son.
Equipment:
  • None that I know of. 
Open Questions:
  • What is in the bedroom of the cabin?
    • I just was able to peer into it. I haven't visited it yet
  • In general I still haven't explored this area much

Notes:

Entrance (Pasture and Cabin):
  • This is one of those nice areas where you can see most of the creatures like you were traveling in a city or outerworld
  • There is a wandering wolf that is aggressive, so be careful
  • In the Sheppard's cabin, the giant Sheppard will block you from going into the bedroom.
  • If you "ask shepperd about wolf" you will enter an interactive dialog with them.
    • The shepherd says their son Navahi has fallen ill and needs a proper haggis made of the finest ingredients.
    • They need a lung, a liver and a heart, all of them at least of bright magenta tinge
    • They also need firewood.
      • So you will need to find someone to chop the oaks in the pasture
    • They also need a corpse of a sheep.
    • Once you have everything you can "present corpse" to the shepherd. 
  • An alternate option is you can defeat a "chaos engine" that is nearby.
    • It sounds pretty powerful... I'm not sure this is an easier option...
Chaos Engine:
  • According to the map I was given, the chaos engine was 3 west of the sheep pasture
  • When I entered it, a chaos blob spawned and attacked me.
    • It was super tough so I had to run away
    • I'll have to defer exploring this are for a few (maybe 20) levels...
Kill Tracker:
  • A fluffy white sheep
    • 28000 exp!!

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Shadowkeep Location of Guild: In the Imposing Conservatorium. Go down "stairway" Guild Requirements: Civilized Background Map of Shadow Sabres and Bard Guilds: Disclaimer: There's a lot of things I still don't know about the guild and the official documentation is pretty sketchy. Take everything with a healthy degree of skepticism as a lot of it could be wrong. That being said, I'm currently ranked #32 in the guild in style points, and have ran semi-repeatable tests, so I have tried to base my findings on logs/data vs. gut instinct when possible. Riftwalker Guide

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Randomly moves but can be found in the lake in north-west Rothikgen north of the Riftwalker cave. Look for the 'O' in the lake, and once on it "touch sphere" to enter the guild. Warning: There are a large number of vampire bats (they show up as 'B' on the map) that roam around the guild and will absolutely murder you when you are full of EXP and trying to get to the guild to spend it. Guild Requirements: Magical Background Disclaimer: I'm only level 12 in the guild. So there are huge gaps in my knowledge about being a Riftwalker. I'm writing this guide to document what I'm learning as I learn it. My Overview of the Guild: Riftwalkers have the ability to summon an elemental entity to tank for you. This provides some of the best Newbie solo abilities in Batmud as you can cast damaging spells while letting your rift entity take the hits. The trade-off is that Riftwalkers underperform in parties
