Monk Sect Info

Image
Overview: After earning 20 levels in a martial arts guild (Warrior Monks or the "secret assassination guild") you can join a sect that will provide additional skills, bonuses, and will modify your martial arts attacks. Right now there are three sects to choose from, each of which provide different bonuses and quests. While you can switch between sects, the reputation/skills you earn from them is not shared and you can only make the switch once a week. Learning Sect Powers: Important Point: While sect powers are improved as your character gains EXP, they do not actually cost any real EXP. This is nice for newbies as they are essentially "free". That being said, you need to actively work at saving the bonus EXP through meditation, and high level players have it easier since they are probably earning more EXP than newer players.  Learning New Sect Powers: Sect powers will be revealed to you as you train them up, but you can't use them until they are fully cultiva...

Monk Special Training Guide

Image
Introduction: Monks unlock access to four different trainers once they have performed enough Iron Palm attacks (roughly 100 attacks). Each of these trainers will teach you three different attack skills of varying difficulty. These skills do not cost EXP to train and only increase in effectiveness through using them. These skills can also be chained into combos that speed up subsequent attacks and provide unique bonuses. To unlock these attack skills you will need to visit the trainers who are on different spots on four continents and then complete several challenges. General Overview of Skills: From each trainer you can learn three skills They are 2 round, 4 round, and 6 round skills Aka: Light, Medium, and Heavy From a base damage perspective (very rough estimate on a *good* hit): Light: 100 hitpoints of damage Medium: 200 hitpoints of damage Heavy: 300 hitpoints of damage Each skill will also provide a "special" bonus Furnachia: +Bypass Armour Lucetium: +Avoid Laenor: +Hit ...

Monk Guide

Guild Location: Main Guild Location: Continent :  Lucetium World Location:  West of  Lorenchia City. To join the Monk Guild (Warriors of the Brotherhood) you'll need to go around the mountains to the west, and follow the river to the center island. If you are new player, take your time since you won't have swimming or water walking trained, so you'll swallow a lot of water and take damage Also there often are tough aggressive vampire bats (b) wandering around the lake so make sure you avoid them while going to the guild. An easier option is to look around the city of Lorenchia to see if there is a navigator tree (t) that will teleport you to the Monk guild location. Note:  This is also where your main Monk quests will be. Your statue room is also in this area but will need to be unlocked via guild quests. Additional Training Locations: There are other trainers on different continents that can teach you specific skills. A guide to these special trainers is available [...
