Dark Forest

Continent: Desolathya

Description:
  • The forest is for Midbies, but only Highbie parties should venture deep into the tunnels
    • Basically Pennywise the Clown wanders the tunnels
  • This area is loosely based on different Stephen King novels

  • None that I know of. 
Open Questions:
  • What happens if you kill the cat with the claws you got from the IT statue?
    • This is related the the AQ: It's Dog.
  • What is beyond IT?

Notes:

Entrance (Forest):
  • To the south in the forest there is a pocket knife you can find on the ground
    • Not sure if this is for anything, but it shows up across reboots.
  • There is something causing bubbles in the river. Surely it is fishes...
    • When you cross the river, you run into three aggressive piranha. Guess it was the fishes...
    • When you fully cross the river, you will see a warning sign about the piranhas. Guess you were just approaching from the wrong side.
  • In the small clearing, there is a giant tree. If you "search tree" you will find a hidden ladder.
    • You can then "climb ladder" to climb the tree
  • There are two entrances to the sewers through old pipes
Sewers and Tunnels:
  • Be careful exploring since IT and a giant spider lurk down here.
  • You need to go through the sewers though to reach the town
  • Beware the zombies down in the sewers. They will cast poison on you which can be a nasty surprise.
    • It will also cast a spell (feeblemind) that reduces your int for around 20 minutes.
  • Eventually if you wander through the tunnels you will run into an Old Mummy that blocks you from continuing on.
    • This is a good thing since very tough monsters lurk beyond the mummy including IT which will prevent your party from fleeing (aka party wipe)
Town:
  • When you pop out of the North Eastern tunnels you will find yourself in an abandoned town
  • These is a statue of IT in the town.
    • If you "worship statue" you will be given a pair of claws and directions to kill a small cat
    • Not sure what happens if you follow through with this... But there is a cat in the sewers.
  • There is a secondary entrance to the tunnels in the South. That entrance will take you right by IT, so be careful!
 
Kill Tracker:
  • A drunk man
    • 14000 exp
    • Drops a bottle of Jack Daniels and a padded leather jacket
  • A piranha
    • 2500 - 4500 exp
  • A huge bee
    • 1000 exp
  • A little chipmunk
    • 2000 exp
    • Drops a fistful of peanuts
  • A little snake
    • 3400 exp
  • A small cat
    • 400 exp
  • A creeping zombie
    • Casts poison
    • 30000 exp
    • drops a pair of boots, a black pointed cap, and a pair of gloves

Riftwalker Guide

Guild Location: Continent : Rothikgen World Location: Randomly moves but can be found in the lake in north-west Rothikgen north of the Riftwalker cave. Look for the 'O' in the lake, and once on it "touch sphere" to enter the guild. Warning: There are a large number of vampire bats (they show up as 'B' on the map) that roam around the guild and will absolutely murder you when you are full of EXP and trying to get to the guild to spend it. Guild Requirements: Magical Background Disclaimer: I haven't earned the Magic entity yet or done any end game content like rift raids. So there are huge gaps in my knowledge about being a Riftwalker. Dortlewall Crystite Mine

Continent:  Laenor Description: Located in the newbie town of Dortlewall Area for newbies to grind EXP and to obtain a currency called crystite to purchase newbie equipment The equipment is *very* good, but will only work until you are level 60 Level Limit: There is a hard level limit of 40. Aka players level 41 and greater can not enter the mines Quests: Area Quest: It's a Drill You need to fix a broken drill on the second level of the mine To do this you need to find three machine parts. I'm told the machine parts can spawn differently for different players.  Aka where you get the parts will be different, as well as what parts show up where.  For example, one person searching the junk in the abandoned food store will find a Stone Pin, and another person might find a Ring with Ball Bearings.  Also one person might need to scavenge the broken drill while that drill might be empty for another person.
