Meadowshire
Continent: Desolathya
Description:
- One of the few instanced areas in Batmud. Everyone who enters it gets their own private instance
- Contains personalized quests and the chance to create your own farm
- Great place newbie players to earn money
- No tracked quests that I know of. But I've been told you can start a farm in this area.
- There certainly are a ton of tasks to do in this area anyways!!!
Equipment:
- Gleaming silver cleaver
- +1% butchering
- Long ebony--handled rake with stiff adamantium head
- +2% plant lore
- Obtained by killing Cobb Lettucepatch, farming coordinator
- Falcon plume quill pen with gold tip
- +1% law. +poison damage
Open Questions:
- Still exploring this area. I've been told that eventually you can own a farm and make money in this area
- I have no idea if the "tasks" save over reboot or if you need to complete everything in a single go.
- I have a "shortcut" for one of the task givers, so I'm curious if there are shortcuts for the other two as well in different areas.

Notes:
Entrance and Plaza:
- At the entrance is a switch that you can flip to lock the entrance of meadowshire if you want
- Not sure why you would want to do that...
- In the Plaza are a ton of characters that move from room to room and interact with each other
- If you are killing things, watch out for the Elven emissary and their two bodyguards that move as a group.
- There are a number of vendors in the plaza:
- In the southwest plaza Fiana Bramblebrook sells farming supplies
- In the northwest plaza Tobias Underbough sells tools
- In the northeast plaza Glendia Bloomfield sells all sorts of fruit and cooking supplies
- In the southeast plaza Marvin Willowroot sells meat and animal handling equipment.
Making Meadowshire Independent:
Note: There are four taskmasters who you can talk to who you need to convince to break their alliance with the Efiilas faction. You can "talk" to them to open up an interactive dialog
- To the northwest of the plaza is the communal area with Cobb Lettucepatch the farming coordinator.
- Dialogs asking him what it would take to break his alliance:
- If you ask him about food that he would like he responds with a shopping list
- Example: 5 cooked fish, a dozen picked plants, and a handful of salt
- If you ask him about specialized gear he will respond with a specific ask
- Example: 5 potions of rain
- Don't try to reason with him. Most of the options will fail and make him harder to influence.
- Don't try to lie, he'll see through them and be harder to influence
- In the southwest is another communal area with Yorgan Threshwell the guard captain
- Dialogs asking him what it would take to break his alliance:
- He's interested in weapons, and will ask you for a set of items:
- Example: two metal full body armours, two claymores, and 100 metal sling bullets
- If you ask him what he needs to keep the shire safe he'll give you a list
- Example: five wands with offensive spells, one of which is an AoE.
- Funny thing, I was just exploring Mirror mines, and his brother wrote a letter warning Yorgan about the Efillas. [Link to Mirror Mines Guide]
- If you give the letter to Yorgan he will withdraw his support for the alliance.
- To the northeast of the plaza is another communal area with Brigga Tallthistle, who is the accountant and treasurer of Meadowshire
- Dialogs asking her what it would take to break his alliance:
- If you ask about money, it would be 50k gold
- If you ask her what the shire needs, she gives you a very expensive list:
- Example: 50k refined oak and a 5 slot chest
- This will cost you way more than 50k gold!
- It has a bonus option though of asking her for the combination to the warehouse (which she understandably turns down.
- To the southwest of the plaza is a locked door to the warehouse
- I haven't been able to get into it, but I'm sure Brigga has the combo/key
